How can we help?

Email hello@trakdd.com for help with Trakdd. Include your app version, device model, and a description of what happened. Please do not send passwords, passcodes, or financial records. Remove private details from any screenshots.

Do I need an account?

No. Choose “Skip for now” on the opening screen to track expenses, income, and budgets on your device. You can sign in later from Account & backup in the app menu.

How does cloud backup work?

Signing in with Apple or Google enables automatic backup. Changes save while Trakdd is open and connected. Offline changes stay on your device until a successful save. Check Account & backup for the last saved time or a message explaining a pending save.

How do I restore my records?

Sign in to the same Trakdd account using the same Apple or Google sign-in method you used before. Saved records restore automatically. Your Apple and Google accounts should not be assumed to share a Trakdd account just because their email addresses match. If you used Apple’s private relay, continue with the same Apple Account.

If records are missing, confirm the account shown in Account & backup and check your connection. Contact us before resetting or deleting anything. Records that were never successfully saved to the cloud cannot be recovered from a cloud backup.

What happens when I sign out?

You return to the opening sign-in screen. Your local records remain on the device, so choosing “Skip for now” can still show those records. Signing out does not erase them.

How do I delete my account?

Open Account & backup → Delete account and follow the identity-confirmation steps. This removes your Trakdd sign-in account and cloud ledger. Local records remain until you reset the app’s data. If you cannot access the app, email hello@trakdd.com for help; we may need to verify that you own the account.

How do I remove records from this device?

Use Settings → Data & storage → Reset App Data. This removes local records and signs you out, but keeps an existing cloud backup. If you want to remove both cloud and local records, delete your account first, then reset local app data. Before a reset, check that anything you want to keep has been saved or exported.

Why can converted amounts change?

Trakdd uses reference exchange rates to estimate amounts in your preferred currency. These estimates can change when rates refresh and may differ from rates charged by a bank or payment provider.
