Terms of use

Last updated: 14 October 2026

Trakdd is operated by its cofounders, Dominion Yusuf and Victor Hamzat, in Rwanda. These terms describe use of the Trakdd app and its optional cloud backup. For questions, contact hello@trakdd.com.

Personal budgeting

Trakdd lets you record income and spending, set budgets, and view calculations across currencies. It does not operate a bank account, move money, or provide personalized financial, investment, or tax advice. You are responsible for checking the records and calculations you rely on.

Optional accounts

You can use Trakdd without an account. Signing in with Google or Apple enables automatic cloud backup. Use the same sign-in method and account when returning to your saved data. Keep access to that provider account secure and do not use another person’s account without permission.

Your records and backups

You retain ownership of the records you enter. You allow Trakdd and its service providers to process them as needed to operate the features you choose, as described in the privacy policy.

Offline changes save locally. Cloud saving requires a connection while the app is open; check the last-saved time before resetting or removing the app. Connectivity problems, device loss, service interruptions, or account-access problems can prevent a save or restore. Keep another copy of records you cannot afford to lose.

Exchange rates

Currency conversions use reference rates supplied by a third party. Rates may be delayed or unavailable and can differ from a bank, card provider, or money-transfer service. Trakdd’s converted amounts are budgeting estimates, rather than a guaranteed rate for a transaction.

Acceptable use

Use Trakdd lawfully. Do not attempt to access another user’s records, interfere with the service, bypass access controls, or upload material you have no right to use.

Signing out and deleting data

Sign out disconnects the account and keeps local records. Delete account removes the Trakdd sign-in account and cloud ledger after verification. Reset App Data removes the records on the device and keeps any completed cloud backup. See the privacy policy for the deletion process and retained deletion-protection marker.

Availability and changes

Features and availability may change as Trakdd develops. We will explain material changes to these terms on this page and update the date above. Nothing in these terms limits rights or protections that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
